Cuchara Valley Landscapes | About Prints

Thank you for your interest in my photography. Almost all of my pictures of the Cuchara Valley are available as prints for you to enjoy full-size in your home, office, or cabin-just look for the Buy button as you are viewing the images. I know it is difficult to purchase an expensive wall hanging online without being able to see it in person, so I have a limited selection of prints available locally in Cuchara at The Timbers Art Gallery. The prints available through this website are of the highest quality and are printed on archival materials by Bay Photo Lab, a top-rated professional lab.

Print Options

If an image is available as a print, it will appear with a Buy button. Just click the button to see the purchase options. If you are interested in an image and do not see a Buy button, please contact me for availability.

My standard prints are available on several types of media: HD Acrylic, Metal, Barnwood Framed and Matted, and Giclee Canvas. For stunning visual quality, I recommend the HD acrylic prints, and for a more traditional look, the Barnwood Framed Prints. If you are interested in other options such as matted or framed prints, additional sizes not listed, or digital products, please contact me. I am more than happy to work with you to meet your needs.

HD Acrylic

HD Acrylic Prints are printed on Epson metallic photo paper then face-mounted to 1/4" clear acrylic and finished with 1/8" Black Sintra mounted to the back. Printing onto metallic paper gives the print a luminous appearance;  this method is far superior to direct printing onto the acrylic because it provides much higher resolution and more vibrance. The clear acrylic magnifies the beauty of the image and provides a classic but modern look. HD acrylics are printed using Epson Archival Inks onto archival photo paper providing the same long life as traditional Giclee Canvas Prints.

HD acrylic prints are hung using a 1” deep black matte birch wood frame with a hanging wire. The frame makes the image appear to be floating on the wall with nothing showing from the front. Stainless steel mounting posts set in the four corners of the print are available as an option for a more modern look.

Barnwood Frames

These barnwood frames are produced from re-purposed wood harvested from old barns, floor boards, marine wood, and fences from northern California and are truly one-of-a-kind. Images are printed on professional-quality Kodak ENDURA metallic or Fuji Deep Matte Velvet paper, depending on the particular image, mounted on 1/4" foam board. Framed prints are finished with paper backing and a wire hanger.

Barnwood framed prints are priced with matted images. Please contact me for non-matted options or additional sizes not listed.

Metal

Metal prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the images take on an almost magical luminescence. Metals are uniquely durable prints with vibrant colors, brilliant luminescent images, and exceptional detail. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight.

Giclee Canvas

Giclee Canvas Prints are printed with archival inks on a 400gsm white poly-cotton blend canvas specifically designed for the high-end fine art and photography markets. Images arrive ready to hang, printed on canvas using Epson archival inks and wrapped around a 1.5" wooden stretcher frame with a wire across the back. The gallery wrap is prepared so that the entire image shows on the face of the finished canvas, preserving the original composition of the image, and the parts of the image closest to the edge are wrapped over the sides of the canvas in a mirror image. Solid color edges are also available.

To ensure the best quality of your print, the available print sizes for each image are based on the aspect ratio (height to width) of the image so that your print looks exactly as it does on screen. Although you will be given the option to resize or crop your print, I recommend ordering each image as-is.
